Stock Market Opening Update Gift Nifty Flat, Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty Rally, Gold at Record Highs

Gift Nifty & Global Cues
Gift Nifty is trading flat near 24,950, but still up 100 points compared to the previous close of 24,836. Asian markets are positive, with Nikkei up nearly 700 points, Hang Seng gaining 450 points, and Dow Jones futures trading 86 points higher.

In the last session, Nifty 50 closed 225 points higher, while Nifty Bank surged 712 points. Analysts note that Nifty has support at 24,800 and resistance at 25,000. For Nifty Bank, a breakout above 55,000 sets the next resistance at 55,800, with further upside possible up to 56,200–56,450.

F&O Market Highlights

  • Top Gainers: Tata Motors, Saman Capital (+5.5%), Sam Finance (+5.5%), KPIT Tech.
  • Top Losers: Delivery (-3.5%), Hindustan Petroleum (-2%), Cummins, Indian Bank.

Gold & Silver Outlook
Gold remains strong at ₹1,20,000, while Silver has touched ₹1,45,000. Silver is facing resistance between ₹1,45,000–₹1,50,000. If it breaks out, analysts suggest an upside towards ₹3,00,000 in the long term.

Currency Update
The Indian Rupee is trading near lifetime lows. It showed mild strength against the Euro but was weaker against the Pound and Japanese Yen in the last session.

FII & DII Data
FIIs sold equities worth ₹1,605 crore, while DIIs were net buyers at ₹2,916 crore. India VIX declined further, and the Put-Call Ratio stands at 1.18. Despite low volatility, equities are consolidating, while precious metals are outperforming.

  • Mainboard IPOs of True Oil Bioenergy and Kushal Industries are listing today.
  • V-Mart Retail reported 22% revenue growth, 11% same-store sales growth, and added 25 stores this quarter.
